Careers & Aspirations
At Eldon Grove Academy we intend to ensure all pupils have a combination of aspiration, knowledge and attainment to fulfil their ambitions. Throughout this, their horizons are broadened as their own individual interests, talents and flair for a specific area of learning is enhanced.
Our intention is to also raise aspirations through careers education in order for pupils to learn a broad range of skills and knowledge to form ideas about what they might want to do. Throughout this aspect of their education, there is an element of motivation to instil a sense of possibility and passion to pursue what they are interested in, to break down stereo types, discover what skills are needed and to develop an understanding of the wider world and how they can make a difference.
We believe that all of our children, regardless of background, can be whatever they choose to be and this potential needs nurturing in order for every child to understand what is possible and help to believe they can achieve it.
At Eldon Grove Academy we intend to ensure all pupils have a combination of aspiration, knowledge and attainment to fulfil their ambitions.
Our aim is to inspire our children, raise their aspirations and make a positive difference to their lives – academically, socially and emotionally. Aspirations are also embedded throughout our school ethos as we promote inclusivity and support for those that require it. Our culture of developing resilience, risk taking, pride, curiosity and reflection ensures that |
personal development, health and well-being is also aspirational.
