After School Provision
We offer a variety of after school provision.
After School Activity Clubs
Each half term we offer a variety of free after school clubs across year groups Reception to Year 6 - maximum numbers apply. Our clubs vary from term to term but can include a variety of sports activities, performing arts club, choir, cookery club and gardening club. Our clubs operate straight after the end of school until 4.30pm. Parents/carers will be notified each half term by Class Dojo of the clubs available. Places can be booked using MCAS (My Child at School) (Bromcom). An MCAS account is required in order to book free clubs. Please contact the school office if you have not yet activated your MCAS account (links expire after 24 hours).
After School Wraparound Childcare Facility
Eldon Grove Academy also offers an after school childcare facility (paid service).
Our wraparound childcare club operational times are:
3.15pm to 4.30pm (£5.00 per child)
3.15pm to 5.30pm (£10.00 per child)
3.15pm to 6.00pm (£15.00 per child)
4.30pm to 6.00pm (£7.50 per child)
This last option is only for children who attend one of our free activity clubs first and then move to the wraparound childcare facility afterwards.
Any child from Reception to Year 6 can attend the wraparound club. The club is staffed by existing members of staff within school so children will be familiar with the club staff. Children receive a choice of snack (sandwich, wrap, toast, pancake, bagel, crumpet) and a drink of juice. They are able to participate in a variety of activities (dance activities, TV programmes/films, colouring, art and crafts, board games, lego, ipads etc). Children also have access to outdoor spaces and equipment.
Our booking facility is available on MCAS and places can be booked for days/weeks/terms in advance if required. For any late or emergency bookings (same day), places can be booked via the main office.
For more information on the wraparound facility, please contact the school office. An application form is required to be completed and returned prior to booking wraparound club places for health and safety and safeguarding reasons (available on MCAS).
All children are expected to follow our usual school rules regarding behaviour when attending after school clubs or wraparound facility.
Guidance can be found here about how to book and pay for wraparound places.
