Our school meals are cooked on the premises and reflect the national initiative of “Healthy Eating”. Our school cook, Ms Smith, provides a varied menu with lots of options, from which the children can choose.
A school meal currently costs £2.10 per child which includes a main course, dessert and a drink. Meals should be paid for each Monday in advance of meals taken. Please see our section Parentpay for information on how to set up an account to make online payments at your convenience. Payments can be made weekly, monthly or termly.

Please complete and return the form below (before the end of the current half term) if you wish your child to switch meal arrangements (from packed lunch to school meal and vice-versa). Changes will take effect from the beginning of the next half-term.

If your child requires a medically prescribed diet such as gluten, egg or milk free due to an allergy or intolerance to certain foods, you must contact Catering Services (see below for contact details).
Catering Services need to speak to parents/carers directly so in addition to advising the school of your child’s allergies you must also contact North Tyneside Council’s Catering Services Team to arrange an appointment to discuss your child’s specific dietary requirements.
